Have information that could help?

By Keith Hinchliffe · Grafton Close survivor and independent researcher

I welcome relevant historical documents, corrections and genuine enquiries. Please protect the privacy of survivors and anyone else named in any material you share.

What is useful

Original records about Grafton Close, Richmond children’s services in the early 1980s, visitor and child-absence procedures, inspection records, publicly available archival references, or corrections to a dated source may help resolve specific evidential questions.

Before you get in touch

  • Please do not send names or contact information of children or other survivors without their informed permission.
  • Only submit records you are entitled to share. Avoid unnecessary medical, police or third-party identifying details; use the scanned-document form below for permitted archival material.
  • Where possible, identify the originating archive, catalogue number, date and whether publication is authorised.
  • Information supplied does not automatically become public: a separate verification and publication decision is required.

Contact me securely

Use the confidential form below for a historical research enquiry, correction or original document. Submitted documents are checked before acceptance and handled privately. No document check can guarantee complete safety. I review submissions privately, and nothing is published without a separate decision.

Document limits: Up to two PDF, DOCX, ODT, TXT, JPEG, PNG or TIFF files, each no larger than 4 MB. No executables, macro-enabled Office files or ZIP archives. The form will not accept submissions when its scanner is unavailable.

Privacy: A name and reply email are optional. To protect others, only include private information you are authorised to disclose. Contact details and documents are processed solely for reviewing the enquiry and, where appropriate, replying or correcting research. Keep the submission reference to help with subsequent queries. This is not an emergency or support service, and replies are not automated.

If the embedded form does not load, open the secure submission form in a separate window. Submissions are encrypted and reviewed manually; no automatic email confirmation is sent.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services. I cannot provide crisis or safeguarding intervention through this independent research website.
